A family business,
in every bay.
The family has been fixing cars on the South Coast since 1961. Carl's Collision Center has carried that work forward since 1994, and three generations later it's still run the same way: by the family that owns it and works in it.
How we got here
Sixty-five years in the trade.
It started in 1961 with a single collision shop and a simple idea: fix the car right, treat the customer straight. In 1994 that became Carl's Collision Center, and it has been wholly family-owned ever since.
Carl Garcia grew up in the shop and took over as CEO in 2005. A licensed Massachusetts damage appraiser since 1993, he helped lead I-CAR's Massachusetts chapter and brought the first Mercedes-Benz collision certification to the South Coast. Under him the business grew from one location to three: Fall River, New Bedford, and Newport.
Today the third generation is in the shop too, learning the trade the same way Carl did. The tools have changed a lot since 1961. The standard hasn't.

How we work
Old-school craftsmanship, cutting-edge tools.
A modern car is a computer wrapped in stamped metal, and repairing one takes both a craftsman's hands and the manufacturer's exact procedures. We've invested in the training and the equipment to do both, from a sealed aluminum bay to ADAS calibration to a Tesla Approved certification.
What hasn't changed is the part you can't buy: people who care that the gaps line up, the color matches in the sun, and the car leaves the way it was built. We stand behind every repair with a lifetime warranty, and in practice, we make it right.

Three generations in one place means deep roots. We've been involved in South Coast civic life for decades, from the Prince Henry Society to local schools and youth sports. This is our home, not just our market.
